Dexory brings visibility to warehouses through analytics and autonomous robots. To do so, the UK-based startup combines hardware and software.
On the hardware side, it develops robots equipped with sensors and cameras to capture data as they traverse a particular warehouse and continuously take pictures of the shelves. The robots capture 3D scans of the site that provide insights into things like dimensions, shapes and sizes, and volumes of goods sitting on shelves.
On the software side, it uses computer vision and machine learning to process the captured data, while tying it to the physical location of the stock, but within a digital twin — meaning, a complete virtual equivalent of its real-world counterpart is created.
